I teach parents practical strategies to manage their child's behaviour and support their emotional well-being. This empowers parents, leading to greater engagement and closer collaboration with school staff to improve educational outcomes.
I support parents in overcoming barriers to participating in their child’s education and promoting diversity and inclusion. I simplify IEP and EHCP processes for children with special educational needs and provide clear guidance on attendance, behaviour, and safeguarding so parents can work confidently with schools.
Parents receive practical tools for communication, boundary setting, conflict resolution, emotional regulation, and self-care. These skills reduce reliance on the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub and other external agencies, building resilience and proactive problem-solving within families

Strengthening the partnership between schools and parents is key to improving student outcomes — and I bring over 20 years of hands-on experience as a specialist adolescent practitioner to support this goal.
I’ve worked closely with secondary schools, Pupil Referral Units, and a range of professionals including teachers, safeguarding leads, SEN teams, and pastoral staff. I understand the real-world challenges schools face when trying to engage families and support students with complex needs.
In my previous roles, I’ve helped schools enhance parent engagement and deliver targeted behavioural interventions for students with special educational needs, those at risk of exclusion, and families in crisis. This work has led to:
